The Kalmia Club's annual fundraiser this year will showcase some of the talented musicians that call Lambertville home. "Nightclub at the Riverside" will take place on Friday, March 28, 2008 at The Inn at Lambertville Station. A night of local musical talent, there will be dancing, hors d'oeuvres and a ticket auction of artwork and other items donated by local artists and businesses of the area. The event takes place in the Riverside Ballroom from 8 p.m. to midnight with a cash bar available.
Featured musicians are "The Shackers" (comprised of Bill Kershaw, Shaun Ellis, Tim McKenzie, Misha Sumichrast, Art Banker and Steve Antos) and jazz vocalist Carol Heffler (pictured above) accompanied by Fred Van Doren on keyboard. Also performing are vocalists John Sonntag (pictured above) and Jean Millman.
Ticket sales will benefit SAFE in Hunterdon which serves victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Hunterdon County. Kalmia has supported SAFE for a number of years, and with your help we can reach our goal of $3,500 for this worthy organization.
Tickets are $30 and can be ordered by calling Maryann Ranson at (609) 397-9110. With only 130 seats available, it is recommended that orders be placed early. Tables can be reserved.
